Movie Trivia

- Director Oliver Stone was originally attached to direct Pink Ville, a film about the army investigation of the My Lai Massacre, but the development was canceled because of the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike.

- Although Stone has criticized Bush for the management of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the director said that he was not looking for an "anti-Bush polemic". Stone compared his goal of the film to that of The Queen (2006), they want to trace "of seminal events in the life of Bush."

- It is currently unknown how the final draft would transform in the movie because of "outrageous moments", but this movie is Stone described as "fair, true portrait of the man."

- Stone is the structure of W. as a three-act movie begins with Bush as a young man with a wasted life ", followed by his transformation and" an assertion of free will that was incredibly powerful "as he came out of the shadow of his father, And finally, invasion of Iraq.

- Josh Brolin spent months working on the chairman of the special vocal style, calling hotels in Texas and talk with the people at the reception, listening to their accents. The Californian actor is also watching video of Bush walking.

- Robert Duvall is rumored to have been considered for the role of Dick Cheney.

Josh Brolin did a convincing Dubya, though he reminded me a lot of his cowboy character from No Country for Old Men... over all, i don't doubt that 'W.' will have the effect Oliver Stone desired
