Quarantine

Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night with a shift of Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they found the police already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams from an apartment of the units. They learn quickly that a woman living in the building is infected by something unknown.

After a couple of the residents are viciously attacked, they tried to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Telephone, Internet, television and mobile phone access have cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. If the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew of the videotape.

- The film is a remake of the Spanish horror film.

- Sony Pictures has launched a viral marketing campaign for the film, including a MySpace page, Facebook page, and the official website, a similar approach to Clover Field, which the film style is similar. Knotts Halloween Haunt will be to promote the film with a maze of hedges in the 2008 event.
