Bangkok Dangerous


The life of an anonymous killer takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand for a series of contract killings. Joe (Nicolas Cage), a remorseless butterfly, is in Bangkok for the implementation of four enemies of a brutal crime boss, called Surat.

He hires Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm), a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention that his spurs by killing him at the end of the contract. Curiously, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, instead is accompanied by the young man while working in a provisional romance with a local shop girl. As he falls further under the wave of Bangkok's intoxicating beauty, Joe begins to question his isolated existence and let down its guard ... Like Surat decides it's time to clean house.

Directors Oxide Pang and Danny Pang ( "The Eye") paints a picture of the explosive underworld Bangkok, lit by neon and saturated in violence. On the basis of the Pang Brothers' wildly popular Hong Kong action film with the same name "Bangkok Dangerous" was written by Jason Richman.

Nick Cage seems to have a long hair cycle... he grows it out long just before he cuts it off about every fourth movie, i.e. ConAir, Next and now Bangkok Express
