The Incredible Hulk


The Incredible Hulk kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time.
In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.

Living in the shadows, cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

Movie Trivia

- Due to the disappointing performance of Ang Lee's 2003 "Hulk", Marvel decided to begin the franchise for afresh with a totally new creative team and cast not so much designed as a direct sequel.

- Despite that is the origin elements explored in 2003 will not be retreaded Banner here with all these changes from the beginning of the film. Scribe Zak Penn says the film will more tonal appear on the TV series or Bruce Jones' run on the comic.

- Penn wrote three drafts before departure at the beginning of 2007. Actor Edward Norton, who had rewritten previous films he starred in, wrote a new text, which pleased that the director and the studio in determining the film as a reboot. According to Tim Roth, Edward Norton rewrote scenes per day.

- Norton the draft added Doc Samson and referrals to other Marvel characters.

- Producer Avi Arad has also said that the Hulk would be stronger depicted as a hero than in the previous film. Arad also said that the film would be "much more a love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross."

- Sam Elliott said he would have liked to have reprised the role of General Ross in 2003, he played the "Hulk", but the part went to William Hurt.

- Eric Bana rejected reprise the role, he is seen as the first film as a one-time opportunity.

- Despite the culprit known as the "abomination" in the comics, Penn considered this name to be crazy and suggests he will only be identified by his real name Emil Blonsky on the screen. Blonsky will not have a Russian accent.

- The Incredible Hulk joined Toronto's Green-Screen initiative, to help cut carbon dioxide emissions and waste created during filming.

- Leterrier plans for the use of make-up and Animatronics in combination with computer-generated images that are exclusively used to portray the Hulk in the previous film. Norton had indicated that he will provide the motion capture character.

- In an attempt to depict their comic book movies in the same universe, Marvel Studios gave a Cameo Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in this film.

- General Ross mentions that the serum Blonsky used to the horror was founded during the Second World War. This is a reference to Marvel Comics' next movie Captain America.

- It took the VFX during artists a year for the construction of a shot where Dr. Banner's gamma-irradiated blood factory falls through three floors in a bottle.

- Edward Norton and Tim Roth filmed their Hulk-horror fracases on a stage, using motion capture and 37 digital cameras.

- Louis Leterrier called Tim Roth, of whom he is a big fan, be delivered because the movie the main antagonist, although Marvel Studios and Edward Norton was initially not sure Roth as a Supervillain

- The Hulk does not increase the volume as he further enraged, staying at a consistently high, unlike in the last movie.
